PSA for all X users: the term “Jeet” is now considered hate speech. The support team at X (typically staffed by Indians) are now banning accounts that use it.

Notably, describing a white person as a redneck, hillbilly, whitey, honkey, gringo, piggy, etc. does not violate any rules on X.

This is interesting because Indians themselves have repeatedly asserted that “Jeet” is not a slur and instead means “winner.” Despite this, X is aggressively banning accounts for typing these 4 letters even on the most innocent of posts.

The etymology of “Jeet” is not unique. “Jeet” is a shorthand for several Indian names, including “Pajeet.” A famous Indian celebrity is also known mononymously as “Jeet,” though it is now against the rules to even mention his name.

Jeet as a stereotype is similar in function to Karen, Timmy, Stacy, etc. By referring to someone with one of these actual names you assign a set of derogatory stereotypes about them. The only difference is that Indians (the most populous ethnic group in the entire world) are a protected minority class and it is not appropriate for low caste non-Indians to speak derisively to them in the same manner that they speak to you.

Keep this in mind when posting on X as it will be an easy opportunity for the Indians who work at X to ban you for talking bad about India, which is their true intention due to cultural reasons.

Anecdotally, I have always used “Jeet” to refer to a subset of Indians who regularly commit fraud by lying, stealing, and performing criminal activities and excusing their poor behavior with an incompatible cultural basis. I have never conflated “Jeet” to represent Indians in general, which is a courtesy I intentionally have gone out of my way to perform out of politeness and rarely seen on this platform.

However, now that I am being flagged for providing such a distinction I will simply use “Indian” going forward. I apologize in advance to the thousands of Indians that appreciate my posts and who may feel unfairly maligned by this shift. That is a consequence of other Indians punishing me for attempting to distinguish you separately among them, and it is not worth getting my account banned as they continue to evolve new ways to silence me for speaking honestly about India and its people.

Alberta is very generous when it comes to benefits for the less fortunate among us.

AISH (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped) caseloads in Alberta have risen steadily since 2000, from roughly 26,500 to over 77,000 by 2024–25, with recent monthly figures around 80,000.

Recipients have grown at a rate of twice Alberta’s overall population for much of this period (57% rise vs. ~24% population growth). It's a well documented fact that people are moving here from other provinces, just to take advantage of our generosity.

Alberta has the best such program amongst the big 4 provinces.

Alberta’s AISH pays the highest maximum for a single adult: up to $1,940 per month in 2026 (living allowance), plus health benefits.

Ontario’s ODSP maxes out at about $1,436 (basic needs + shelter).

BC’s Persons with Disabilities assistance reaches roughly $1,483.50, plus a $52 transportation supplement.

Quebec’s Social Solidarity Program provides around $1,318, with a higher Basic Income option (~$1,707) for long-term severe cases.

AISH remains the most generous core rate, though Alberta recently introduced a lower-rate ADAP stream for some recipients. All include medical supports and earnings exemptions that differ by province.

The program is so easy to qualify for, that people with dyslexia or ADSH now receive benefits.
