[from a podcast] "you're on the right path. keep moving forward; you're not lost. sometimes, the right path is not always the easiest. choosing the wrong path just to satisfy your ego will never end well."
what an affirmation
Don't you just love how some media outlets just air C/ayetano's monologues with no effort to balance those with facts?
So much for the media as the fourth estate.
Cannot overemphasize the fact that if you want good examples for your kids, one way is to introduce them to good role models. And that includes not 👏 electing 👏 violent 👏 people 👏

Around the same time when the destructive earthquakes rocked Venezuela, a powerful magnitude 6.9 earthquake also struck off the northern coast of Japan’s Tohoku region, rattling buildings across northeastern Japan and sending tremors as far as Tokyo.
The quake occurred near Iwate Prefecture at a depth of about 50 kilometers, but authorities reported no tsunami threat and no immediate reports of major damage or injuries.
Scientists say the region lies along the seismically active region where the Pacific Plate dives beneath Japan, making earthquakes a frequent occurrence. Inspections also found no abnormalities at nearby nuclear facilities.
The Japan Meteorological Agency says the magnitude 6.9 quake occurred off the coast of Iwate Prefecture and had an intensity of upper 6 on the Japanese scale of zero to 7 in the hardest-hit areas in the hardest-hit areas of Aomori Prefecture.

Two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela just seconds apart on June 24, sending residents of the capital, Caracas, rushing into the streets as buildings swayed, walls cracked, and several structures collapsed.
The first quake measured about magnitude 7.1, followed less than a minute later by an even stronger 7.5 tremor, a rare phenomenon known as an earthquake doublet, where two major quakes occur in rapid succession along the same fault system.
The shallow earthquakes triggered tsunami warnings across parts of the Caribbean, though these were later lifted. Authorities also warned of aftershocks and urged residents to remain cautious as rescue teams assessed damage.
Venezuela lies along the active boundary between the Caribbean and South American tectonic plates, making it vulnerable to powerful seismic events.

WATCH: HALO-HALO AND POLITICS?
A routine inspection of DPWH projects in Naga City turned into a scene that quickly stirred political talk after Naga Mayor and former Vice President Leni Robredo and Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon were spotted having a lengthy conversation at Iceblink, one of the city’s popular eateries, on Saturday afternoon.
The meeting fueled speculation over whether their discussion went beyond roads, bridges and flood control, and led to a conversation on the political landscape ahead of the 2028 national elections.
