.@SecScottBessent: "She is on the Senate Finance Committee, she is the ranking member of the Senate Banking Committee — and neither she nor her staff know the difference between a foreign exchange intervention or a currency swap. It is shameful."
3 million gallons sounds huge, but it’s a one time private line failure on a data center property; not the cities main system. Oklahoma City and other surrounding towns lose comparable or more water every year from uncapped fire hydrants and slow residential leaks that sit for months before someone tends to them. I can’t tell you how many times waterlines have broken on May Avenue between Britton Road and Wilshire Boulevard. Accidents happen; the real story is how long those everyday leaks go unaddressed.
EL RENO, Okla. — A damaged private water line at a data center in El Reno caused more than 3 million gallons of water to be wasted this week, prompting the city to issue emergency abatement and public nuisance notices.

🔥 LMFAO! Sec. Scott Bessent just DROPPED THE MIC on Canada. Brutal.
CNBC: Are we in a tit-for-tat trade war with Canada?
BESSENT: I don't think you can be in a tit-for-tat with someone who's 13 times larger than you.
CNBC: They say they're doing OK
BESSENT: What else are they gonna say?
👏🏻💯
The United States has the deepest, most dynamic, and most liquid markets in the history of the world.
@POTUS’ vision for Parallel Prosperity on Main Street and Wall Street has guided our efforts to right-size and refocus financial regulation on material risk, not social agendas.
Under the President’s leadership, we are securing and safeguarding the U.S. banking system while ensuring it remains the gold standard for innovation globally.
Note no mention of how they died and who was responsible. No mention that they were innocent civilians starting their work day and first responders who went to save them.
No mention of the highjacking of the airplanes that were flown into the World Trade Center. No mention of murder or terrorism or who was responsible. Just a benign statement that a few thousand people died that day. He seems to imply they died of natural causes.
Now can you understand why the families don’t want @NYCMayor Mamdani at the 9/11 memorial?
66% of the natural gas that comes into Ontario & Quebec comes from the US. Carney doesn't understand that we'd be talking about shutting down Toronto Pearson Airport without jet fuel. We'd be talking about shutting down the Ontario & Quebec economies without gas & diesel.
The debt did cross 40 trillion but that milestone was decades in the making – driven by both parties, mandatory spending on Social Security and Medicare, and interest costs that now rival those programs. Trump share is real yet the same trajectory was already locked in long before the Iran conflict or the latest tax bill. On a positive side, Trump‘s administration has delivered. A genuine manufacturing and investment surge. Business fixed investment is up over 6%. The ISM manufacturing index is at its strongest in years and companies are announcing trillions in US projects for AI, chips, and factories. Deregulation has already cut hundreds of billions in compliance cost, fentanyl deaths dropped sharply and blue-collar wages are rising faster than inflation for the first time in a while. These are concrete results for working people not just rhetoric.
Here's how Elon Musk found out Bill Gates has no basic physics. Gates showed up at Tesla Austin certain a long-range Semi could never work.
Energy density? Efficiency? He didn't have a single number.
Elon Musk:
"You’d think that someone like Bill Gates, who clearly started a technology company that’s one of the biggest companies in the world—Microsoft—you’d think he’d be really quite strong in the sciences.
But actually, at least from my direct conversations with him, he is not strong in the sciences. This was really surprising. He came to visit me at the Tesla Gigafactory in Austin and was telling me that it’s impossible to have a long-range semi-truck.
And I was like, “Well, but we literally have them. And you can drive them. And Pepsi is literally using them right now. And you can drive them yourself or send someone. Obviously, Bill Gates is not going to drive it himself, but you can send a trusted person to drive the truck and verify that it can do the things that we say it’s doing.”
And he’s like, “No, no, it doesn’t work. It doesn’t work.”
And I’m like, “Okay.” I’m kind of stuck there. Then I was like, “Well, so it must be that you disagree with the watt-hours per kilogram of the battery pack. You must think that perhaps we can’t achieve the energy density of the battery pack, or that the watt-hours per mile of the truck is too high, and that when you combine those two numbers, the range is low.
“And so, which one of those numbers do you think we have wrong, and what numbers do you think are correct?”
And he didn’t know any of the numbers. And I’m like, “Well then, doesn’t it seem that it’s perhaps premature to conclude that a long-range semi cannot work if you do not know the energy density of the battery pack or the energy efficiency of the truck chassis?”
The hijab is a religious symbol of submission to Allah not a costume for photo ops. She does not wear it because of her faith. she wears it because she’s chasing Muslim vote to New York. That’s not respect, that’s pandering. If she actually believed in the values, she claims, she keep her head, uncovered, and defend women who can’t.
