My @LinkedInIndia account `karanlive` got hacked when I received a password reset email and someone from Bangalore changed the password, made my profile disappear, probably deleted the account, changed the email, phone number and #LinkedIn let it happen. @LinkedInHelp

@LinkedInIndia @LinkedInHelp It should be really basic for #LinkedIn to check if an account is being accessed from a new location, new city and a new device. The account owner must be informed of such activities immediately not only thorugh email but via sms or an automated call.

Not only this, at least 7 of my connections have submitted the same `Report Unauthorized Account Access or Changes` form and no action has been taken by #LinkedIn. It is just appalling how users are just equivalent to data and there is no real support.
