Do you guys have any idea, what's the best approach to develop website, Mobile First Approach or Desktop First Approach

I was building my portfolio, with desktop first approach and planned to use tailwind for styling, but now When implementing it, I got to know that tailwind uses mobile first approach, and now whole design is messed up ☺
