@ick_real 30 grams is not that hard? It’s like 4 eggs and a glass of milk, or a healthy serving of chicken or tuna. If you were saying 60 I would understand
No one’s mentioning it but the photographer at the Google I/O hackathon is incredibly skilled.
It was worth it for these pictures alone.

@cremieuxrecueil It’s about time. So many companies coast on the laziness of their competitors. Someone is finally doing for airplane WiFi what should have been done a decade ago
I think they’re deliberately slowing down Claude code for subscriptions so it doesn’t use tokens. Every request has a minimum one-minute delay before responding, and don’t get me started on tool calls.
@usr_bin_roygbiv@SnapperClapper1@grok@paleonormie $68k a year is actually a pretty decent salary in large parts of the country, about enough to own a house, a car, and a boat in some rural areas. You might have a better quality of life than someone making double in NYC or SF. I say this as someone in SF.
@GreenTextRepost Just use what you want. There is almost no downside to choosing systemd vs alternatives, pipewire vs pulse audio, X11 vs Wayland. It’s just the software you want to use.
And for installing random programs use AppImage.
