@DrPhiltill We test vacuum rockets on Earth, could we take one of those setups and drop it from a height to simulate a few seconds of microgravity and vacuum?

@DrPhiltill I did begin to think, why don't we just run experiments in large vacuum chambers. But that's just the unique nature of this problem. Is it just a very difficult task to maintain a vacuum with a rocket firing in it or is it nearly impossible?
