Sudan’s two million Christians are among the hardest hit in this brutal two year war. Some are so desperate they’re eating animal feed, even grass, just to stay alive. Sudan now ranks as the fifth worst country in the world for Christian persecution, according to Open Doors’ World Watch List. The group warns that faith itself has become a death sentence in parts of the country.

it’s the world’s largest displacement crisis. Between 13 and 15 million people have been driven from their homes. Around 150,000 have been killed since the war erupted in April 2023, when the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) turned on the Sudanese Armed Forces (Hamas of Africa)

The ignored and brutal civil war in Sudan, which has already claimed 150,00 lives and displaced millions, has now taken an even more terrible turn in El Fashir, under siege and suffering famine.
RSF rebels have captured the city, triggering the panicked flight of its remaining starving civilians.
The victorious militias, which are predominantly ethnically Arab, have gone on a barbaric killing rampage of the local non-Arab population.
The violence echoes the genocidal slaughters carried out by the Janjaweed militia — the RSF’s predecessor — in Darfur two decades ago.
