I began my wrestling journey when I was 4 years old. At a young age I was chasing gold medals not even realizing the lessons that were being instilled in me. As I got older I knew this sport was special because of those lessons learned and experiences I went through. Early on, I knew that wrestling was my passion and that God gave me the ability to excel at levels that people only dream of. Iโve experienced a lot ups and downs in this sport that will forever be remembered. My goal was to always be the one with my hand raised at the end of every match I wrestled. Going to war and dominating my opponent was something I always prided myself on. This sport has given me more than just medals, itโs given me the things that truly matter in life. Relationships. Most importantly, my relationship with God strengthened because of wrestling. Meeting people in the sport who helped me grow in my faith to know that the victory has already been won on the cross. It gave me the opportunity to meet my wife, the mother of my child. The teammates and the coaches that Iโve had. All are relationships that will last forever. I want to thank everyone who has invested in my wrestling career over my 22 years in the sport of wrestling. Thank you to my family, my teammates, my coaches, my friends, and the fans for everything. Most importantly I want to thank my wife Moriah for being my number 1 supporter and fan. You are my rock. I love you and Lillian.
Iโd like to let everyone know that I have officially retired from the sport of wrestling and will be going into coaching full time to help athletes achieve their goals in this awesome sport.
Love you all and Iโm excited for the next chapter.
