My Grandad joined the RAF at 16, before it was even called the RAF. Looking through old pics this week, I found these shots my Nana had of a crashed plane (bomber?) he was an air observer/navigator on when it came down & him on a captured German plane. #neverforget#Dday
9 years ago - Yodaclub gigging at the marvellous but no more Zombie Hut in Corby. We were without Stevie boy on drums, so with Gregg for one night only! Barry's Fender Valve amp said no that night and Kaz got to sing with the mic Bunnyman Ian McCulloch last used. #memories ❤️
@DavidKonrad24 No, because a machine can't experience the visceral experience of human life. Humans absorb everything they read, hear and see, but on top of that we experience physical life, the fragility of which adds an extra dimension.
@mermaidwrites I walk about bare foot at home all the time, including going out to the bin and to feed the dogs so ground myself daily on various natural stone surfaces. Didn't know it was a thing until recently. I've always done it. Barefoot on grass and sand as much as poss in the summer too!
Today is School Governors' Awareness Day 2024 - school governor's make up the largest volunteer force in the country. I volunteer because I want to make a difference in my local community and to the school my child attends. You don't have to be a parent though! #schoolgovday
