During tree pruning, municipal workers cut down a nest with a baby crow in it. The chick was tied to a branch and to its sibling, unable to move. Fortunately, passersby noticed it — the little one was hospitalized with injuries. The other chick did not survive.

This cat had spent her whole life indoors.
Then heat kicked in, she jumped out the window, got attacked by male cats, and ended up terrified in a tree.

Another duck family has been safely brought to a body of water.
Why do they need rescuing? Ducks choose nesting spots on the fly, aiming for locations that are neither too close nor too far from water. When the time comes, they lead their ducklings—who can't fly yet—on foot to the water.
In nature, untouched by human development, this is a natural process. But cities and roads significantly disrupt it. If you come across a duck family, don't try to scare them away—help them continue in the direction they're going.

In spring, young beavers from the previous litter are sent off by the family to seek new horizons. This beaver likely fell into a manhole during its search. It was spotted by cable workers, who called us. Our rescuers helped the beaver reach the water

Another kitten was rescued from a car—it was noticed while the vehicle was already moving. Fortunately, the little one wasn’t harmed. At first, there was no place to take the kitten, so it spent some time riding around in the rescuers’ car. Eventually, the sister of the woman whose car the kitten had climbed into agreed to take it in

Over the past week, the Rescue Team saved 46 animals: 2 roe deer, 2 hedgehogs, 2 baby hares, 1 baby squirrel, 13 cats, 5 dogs, a grass snake, a beaver, 3 crows, a heron, an owl, a chaffinch, a stork, a swift, 2 bats, and 9 ducklings.

Search and rescue operations have been completed at the site where Russian missiles and drones struck civilian homes near Kyiv. A total of four cats were recovered from the rubble. Not all animals could be found; in the areas of the heaviest destruction, even the bodies cannot be located
