2. Obedience is main goal.
3. All misbehavior must be dealt with immediately.
4. Publicly praising individuals make all students want to behave.
5. Public behavior charts improve behavior.

Great leaders.....
-Small ego, big mission.
-We before me.
-A lot of love and accountability.
-A lot of grace and truth.
-Demanding but not demeaning. -Loving but not enabling.
-Shout praise. Whisper criticism. -High standards, low tolerance for excuses.
Parents – Do not build your happiness around your kid’s athletic performance. If you get in a bad mood because they played bad, take a break from the game. Your kid needs to have tough performances to learn, not have great performances to make you feel good.
A simple leadership tip: Effective schools have principals who empower teachers and students to take risks and grow as thinkers and learners. Leadership matters.
Key question as you examine your literacy curriculum: Are you developing coherence or expecting compliance?
Coherence is developed w/ high expectations, responsive teaching, and professional collaboration.
Compliance only needs a script.
