I'm a mom of six, with two adopted. I've crisscrossed the Midwest multiple times due to my husband's job and have now written a book about it all. As a first-time author, I'm new to X and want to connect with other writers, parents, and Jesus-followers who are learning to adapt to constant change with grace and live to tell a beautiful story. Oh, and by the way, my name is Karin, not Karen, but Karin like CARR-in. It's my true identity.
Sitting with my oldest in his apartment as he is tapping away on his computer, designing and creating, leaning into his true God-given identity. He is an inspiration to me as he pursues what God has given him to do without reservation and even when it's hard.
Our souls come alive when we know how we're wired and put together by God...and then DO what He asks us to do in appropriate response to His calling on our lives.
@homegymcoop It's amazing how God works, what His timing is, and who he uses. Love your reminder to stay consistent in the planting and watering while God does the growing.
“ … your God is a trinity. There are three necessary prayers and they have three words each. They are these,
‘Lord, have mercy.
Thee I adore.
Into Thy hands.’
… If in times of distress you hold to these, you will do well.”
Elisabeth Goudge (1900–1984)
