@Nikole_P @tealsummernight @hedgehog_online What do politicians have to do with them screwing up and not turning off the bigger transmission lines and only the distribution lines? Sounds like an error on their part - they we and they will pay dearly for, some work their lives or homes 😢
@DrTerriDaniel1 Exactly. Wind speeds below as of this am. I see gusts. My patio umbrella is knocked over this morning from winds last night in San Rafael. Not to mention the weather service forecasts. I’d rather be in the dark than in flames. Only a spark to become Kincaid or Paradise, RIP 🙏
@walk4jc PGE tried to keep Sonoma safe and turned off power, but it underestimated the wind threat and didn’t turn off the larger transmissions lines, which is what failed, causing the now massive and catastrophic fire. What do politicians have to do with it?
@stephenshaw@PGE4Me It was calm the other night too when the Kincaid fire broke out. The wind is in the hills. 50mph gusts that night in Sonoma. 80mph forecast tonite. I’d rather be dark than in flames. Their fail was in not shutting off the big transmission lines, not in doing a safety shutoff.
