Why do we expect kids to act older than adults sometimes? This is such a good reminder to let kids feel their feelings, no matter how big they are and how uncomfortable they may be.
Read, read, read. This is so important. Given the choice, my own kids would not always choose to read, but as a parent, we need to help them understand why that choice is important and to make reading as accessible and fun as we can.
