🚨 Nehru: The first Indian Prime Minister linked to a major scandal.📷📷 Rajiv Gandhi: The first Prime Minister involved in the massive Bofors scandal.📷 Sonia Gandhi: The unofficial power center behind a series of some of the world’s biggest scams. Yet the Congress party still claims to be the protector of democracy.

India has locked down its capital detained thousands of youth and opposition leaders cancelled trains shut metro stations and restricted internet just to stop protests over the deletion of more than 130 million names from voter lists. This shows a government that claims to be the worlds largest democracy is using force against citizens who question possible disenfranchisement of minorities women and the poor while the Election Commission faces allegations of bias favoring the ruling party. Peaceful demands for accountability should not be met with barricades mass arrests and suppression if the process is truly clean and fair.

Perhaps this is the first time in the country that lawyers of the Supreme Court are protesting so vehemently on the ground against an Election Commission commissioner or an independent institution 👇🏻🇮🇳🇮🇳

Lawyers of the Supreme Court are educated, no one can have a better understanding of right and wrong than them..!!

FIRST TIME IN INDIAN HISTORY !

Gen-Z protesters slap Modi and Shah (PM&HM) posters during massive protests demanding CEC Gyanesh Kumar's resignation.

Police in India detained at least 35 media workers covering protests in New Delhi over a 48-hour period, according to the US-based Committee to Protect Journalists. Authorities allege they were obstructing police duties.

Pregnant journalist Richa alleges Rahul Gandhi and his security pushed her during the protest. She fell and is hospitalised. Wishing her a speedy recovery.Note: The incident is currently disputed. Richa Parashar has made the allegations (including that she is three months pregnant and was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital), while Congress has denied them and called the claims propaganda. Doctors have stated she is fine and was admitted as a precaution.🇮🇳

Woman lawyer Anindita Das has alleged that she was assaulted inside the Azara Revenue Circle Office in Guwahati. According to her complaint, she was pushed against a cupboard, verbally abused, and had her phone snatched during a land hearing. The incident, which took place in Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s Jalukbari constituency, has triggered public outrage and raised serious questions about women’s safety inside government offices.

BJP alleges that Rahul Gandhi pushed 3-month-pregnant journalist Richa Parashar while she was covering a protest. She is currently in hospital and has recounted the incident from her bed. Critics are asking whether this matches the “Smash the Patriarchy” rhetoric. https://t.co/p7pVyg6CK7

Rahul Gandhi doesn’t even know that grabbing a suit like that can tear it, and this man wants to become PM?

And if the suit had torn, these people would have blamed Delhi Police for it!
