As I walked this morning I thanked God for how He has watched over Damar Hamlin. I couldn’t help but think of Romans 8:28 and God working through a tragedy to help unify us. Over the last week I think we have realized that life is too important to let differences separate us🙏🏽
One of the big ah-ha moments from the Damar Hamlin ordeal is how many people of faith are in media and sports than anyone realized.
But they feel pressure not to talk about…until tragedy happens.
Imagine if we all talked this freely?
Treat people right. Appreciate them, encourage them, support them and make them feel like they matter (because they do). Do this at home, at work, at school, at the store, etc. Do this with people you know and people you don't. Try your best every day to make someone else's day.
On behalf of Region 4 ESC, the superintendents in our region, and @teainfo Commissioner of Education, Mike Morath, we extend our very best wishes to the students and staff of @Uvalde_CISD as they return to class today.

Better than self help is God help. The creator of the universe who created you, and loves you and has a plan for you, is with you and for you. Just ask. Just trust. Just believe.

Remember, it's Bigger Than You. Most of the time whatever you're called to do isn't really about you. It's about those who you will serve. A message can't get shared unless there is a messenger willing to share it. They need you.
