This year seems to be the year that the robots have learned to do laundry, dance and probably a bunch of other stuff. These humanoid 🤖 are made by Agibot and they have the dance moves down
Ludens AI brought some very cute robots to CES 2026. This is Cocomo, a robot pet that's designed to be a companion. It can follow you around and learn about you over time.
👋 Here’s one I’ve been working on for a very long time: its about the business of viral Facebook content, Meta’s (often lack of) support for creators, and one man’s creative legal strategy to get the company’s help. https://t.co/Wqky5cbaHF

At X, we have zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation in any form. Until recently, we leveraged partnerships that helped us along the way. We are proud to provide an important update on our continuous work detecting Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) content, announcing today that we have launched additional CSAM hash matching efforts.
This system allows X to hash and match media content quickly and securely, keeping the platform safer without sacrificing user privacy. This is enabled by the incredible work of our safety engineering team, who have built state of the art systems to further strengthen our enforcement capabilities.
When we identify apparent CSAM, we act swiftly to suspend the account and report the content to @NCMEC, which works with law enforcement globally to pursue justice and protect children. In 2024, X sent 686,176 reports to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and suspended 4,572,486 accounts. Between July and October 2024, @NCMEC received 94 arrests and 1 conviction thanks to this partnership.
Over the years, we’ve invested in advanced technology and tools to stop bad actors from distributing, searching for, or engaging with exploitative content across all media formats on X. We are proud to continue leading the industry in this arena and will never stop using the full extent of our capabilities to eliminate these harmful practices.
Remember how the Twitter bird sign from the old SF office was auctioned for $34,000 earlier this year? I can exclusively report the fate of Larry: his new owners, a marketplace startup, blew him up in the Nevada desert in a massive, fiery spectacle https://t.co/NEsUsTmWaf
Meta released its first set of reports since its policy changes in January, which note an increase in prevalence of violent content and harassment and bullying. The company claims its overall moderation mistakes have decreased 50% as it moves away from proactive moderation.
I'm just so tired and so done being nice. This cat is so stressed. If anyone in the Bay Area is interested in adopting or even fostering, please reach out, he is sweet but NOT ok with other cats and is NOT doing well here. He needs to be in a home.
New exclusive from me: TikTok is introducing Footnotes, its take on Community Notes. The company wants users to be able to add more "context" to videos, but isn't walking away from its fact-checking partnerships. More ⬇ https://t.co/mO4NxtMbbE
For the past several weeks, a ring of Facebook pages have been running hundreds of ads featuring deepfakes of Elon Musk and Fox News personalities, claiming the Tesla CEO has discovered a “30-second fridge trick” that can reverse diabetes.
It’s all part of an elaborate scam to sell sketchy supplements with names like “Gluco Revive.” There are constantly new pages popping up running these ads with slightly different scripts (one claims that Musk has “fled the country” due to threats from “big pharma”)
