@axccl Back of the envelope: 700W for 60 TFLOPs per H100 means 11.7 Watts per TFLOP. Or 11.7 MWatts per EFLOP. Accounting for ~80% of theoretical peak as practical peak performance and adding in extra power required for networking, cooling, etc., it will be probably not fit within 20MW.

@DavidFischak You certainly have a point here. Having a curve that 'blows up' (linear scale) transports the message in one way. That's the emotional part of the message. I just wonder why a log-scale isn't provided as a companion graph, as it allows to make actual data-based conclusions.

I still wonder why most COVID-19 plots use a linear scale, e.g. https://t.co/aeNQXrfACJ . So I replotted the current data for Austria with a log-scale and it's SO much more expressive.

So it looks like the current measures set by the Austrian government start to have an effect: New cases for March 16 were a little lower than predicted by an exponential fit. Data for the next 2-3 days will tell...
