@MaryLouMcDonald@chrisandrews64 Means Testing needs to relax or abolished on Disability Payments. People like myself don’t qualify for these kind of payments.
If a person with a lifelong disability living on this Island should receive these payments automatically.
This government is completely out of touch.
@AerLingus needs to cop on and start listening but also needs to take serious and real action to support those customers with additional needs. There was no issue with supporting us with our needs before 2020.
Now, they are not even addressing anything to accommodate us.
Time to recall the Dáil. Fuel prices remain far too high. People are under huge pressure, and the government has failed to do all it can to support workers and families.
Sinn Féin has called on the government to reconvene the Dáil and take real action to get costs down at the pumps and make life more affordable.
Cut taxes on home heating oil, go further on petrol and diesel, and deliver real cost of living support. This can and should be done without further delay.
I will keep fighting for the action Ireland needs and for the support that you and your family deserve.
Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael don’t care about working people! Yesterday you were shortchanged again. 750,000 households who rely on home heating oil abandoned. Sinn Féin proposed removing excise duty. That would have provided real relief. We won’t settle for half measures. We’ll continue to fight your corner for what you deserve.
Eight years ago this month, Simon Harris committed that no child with scoliosis or spina bifida would have to wait more than four months for life changing and in some cases life saving treatment.
What has happened since then has been nothing short of appalling. The Government must do everything possible to ensure that these children receive the care they so urgently need.
1/2 @AerLingus I’ve flown with you for 20+ years. Before 2020, my disability needs were understood & properly looked after. Now Special Assistance feels like an afterthought.
@RTERadio1, I am 30 years old, I am physically disabled and need 24/7 care. I am fighting for care from the HSE but no one cares. I had to leave secondary school in 4th year because I was getting bullied.
I have no disability services or benefits, D.A, Medical Card, etc.
