Who says classical music is boring?
Classical music not only stimulates children's logical thinking and concentration but can also have a wonderful calming effect on their emotions.
@CynicalPublius Or, 3. Trump ignored the warnings from knowledgeable people, got drunk on power after Venezuela, listened to Hegseth that Iran would be an easy win, and wanted their oil. Oh there was that pesky Epstein thing blowing up at the same time too.
@benedtl JFC, WE HAVE SECRET BALLOTS. Your name isn’t on the ballot so they cannot notify you that it’s been counted. This isn’t rocket science and only proves why GOP loses - you’re dumb AF.
Democrats, we are telling you right now that if you put Jeffries and Schumer in leadership positions you will be slapping the people who gave you this epic win in the face. It will not go well for you if you ignore this message @dnc@TheDemocrats#Anonymous
The absolute ignorance of Oregon MAGA is slaying me. Your ballot is separated from the outer envelope that shows your name and barcode. We have never gotten confirmation that it was counted BECAUSE WE HAVE SECRET BALLOTS. Fuck, you morons are tiring.
Update: Oregon Elections dept finally provided further information concerning my ballot. They say that my ballot has been accepted for counting, but that's it. Nothing further about it actually being counted despite the Elections dept having released the results of the election already, including the governor's race and victory already having been declared by Tina Kotek.
@OregonWolfman Hey dumbass. Your ballot gets separated from the envelope with your name and barcode on it before it gets counted. We have NEVER gotten confirmation that it was counted because our ballots are secret. You’d be screaming if there was a way for the state to identify how you voted.
Here’s what people need to understand: my daughter couldn’t care less about the Muslim Brotherhood or transgender people. She voted on the fact that her and her husband had to DROP THEIR HEALTHCARE during this open enrollment because they can’t afford a $900 monthly premium and a $6000 dollar deductible. They are only insuring her so they can have another baby and are praying her husband and one year old don’t get too sick.
So no, she couldn’t care less about Muslim’s in Minneapolis or Congress. She doesn’t care whether a person has a penis or a vagina. She doesn’t care whether her neighbor is documented or not. She doesn’t care about Iran or Israel or Ukraine. Her worries are in her home everyday knowing she can’t provide healthcare for her son.
So every elitist who wants to say we are doomed, the country is going to change, be scared of this, etc. She doesn’t care. And until the everyday life of the average person improves and families have breathing room and can afford a home and health care, this is what we are going to get.
The Republicans are SO out of touch about what actually matters and they deserved every bit of this.
@JoforOregon@ChristineDrazan The absolute idiocy in these replies. 🙄 We have secret ballots. You will never get a text that yours was counted because they separate it from the outer envelope which has your identifying info. This is how it’s always been. JFC people, were you hatched yesterday?
5 minutes of research answers each of these with sources
1) Trump cut $73 million in education funding headed toward Oregon
2) Trump cut $40 million in housing services headed to Oregon through HUD
3) Oregonians have paid an extra estimated $3 BILLION in trump related tariffs
@jarmaug@jag2nv@data_republican It was the premise for her second lame attempt to justify her original tweet - which was debunked right away. I’m not the least bit shocked that she fell for it - or that someone like you would jump in and defend this garbage tweet. She could have just taken the L.
A wedding photographer who shoots half his work on an iPhone told me the biggest difference between amateur iPhone photos and professional-looking ones isn’t the camera.
It’s the three seconds before you press the shutter.
He’s shot entire engagement sessions, product catalogs, and travel films on an iPhone. He’s seen people with a $1,300 iPhone take photos worse than someone with a $200 phone — and people with an older iPhone take photos that look like magazine covers.
He doesn’t sell presets. He doesn’t work for Apple. He doesn’t care which phone you use.
He shoots every day, edits hundreds of photos a week, and sees the same mistakes over and over.
His average fix: light, distance, and one tap on the screen.
He told me something most iPhone users have never considered:
“Your iPhone camera is not taking bad photos. You are giving it bad conditions. Bad light, dirty lens, digital zoom, no focus point, no exposure control — then blaming the phone when the photo looks flat.”
He said the entire “my iPhone camera is not good enough” problem is built on habits, not hardware.
“There’s no secret setting. There’s no filter that fixes everything. There’s no need to buy the newest iPhone to take better photos. You need to control what the camera sees before you press the button.”
He showed me 9 things most people get wrong about iPhone photography — and the exact routine he uses before every important shot.
