@TheAdvocates Not just how they got it, but what they DO with it. Is he aware there are people in this world without food, medicine, shelter? Does he care?
@tanpukunokami I LOVE your wickedly delightful sense of humor! And I think "confused, sticky, and loyal" describes us well. Well done!! Have a great time here.
@tuuu28283 HOUSTON! The diversity is unparalleled. You can hear almost any language here and eat almost any food you want including awesome bbq. People are friendly and welcoming, not racially judgmental. Heat, humidity, and hurricanes aren't so fun. But as they say "H-town til you drown"
@sakebu_cheese_ Can't speak for everyone, but I think it's from childhood. Most people here love their country and are proud to show it and wear it. 4th of July is a HUGE holiday and children are included in all the festivities ๐
@Perfectly_Laura Noticed that right away and find it off-putting. It gives off adolescent jealousy vibes. Disappointed. But being of Scottish descent, the Tartan Army has given me great pride in my heritage
@FormerlyFormer So true! Four years ago when my daughter graduated from college (and I retired), we drove the contiguous 48 states (AND flew to Alaska - we'd been to Hawaii before). Best 6 weeks ever!!
