I think at 1988. Doing documentary on Bhootaradane was very tough and challenging when equipments were costly and very limited. But he still did that. @Richieeee777

Hindu Emperors always suppressed kannada language and culture either by Vijaynagar or by Maratha Empire. It was actually Christian missionaries like Dr Kettle who saved kannada language from extinction . I am saying a fact as a hindu kannadiga .
