Assisted living facilities are not nursing homes, and they do not provide skilled nursing care. I’ve been surprised how many people use the generic term “nursing home “for any and all types of elder care residences.

In the first Wisconsin gubernatorial race I covered in '02, there were 171,686 votes cast in Dane County overall.

Last night, @Tony4WI carried the county by 174,233 votes.

That's why Republicans keep calling me about their Dane County problem in statewide races.
