most tech ppl still think substance wins. but culture is aesthetics first now. ppl care how stuff feels. they want to feel smart, feel clean, feel upgraded. function is secondary to affect in many ways.
the internet crowned aesthetics emperor. everything’s a short film. even truth has to look right or it gets buried. algorithms even float the most beautiful ppl to the top (look at hinge roses). if you don’t understand this, you don’t understand modern culture.
