@Juzel_Rix The two vertical pipes attach to the large white horizontal ones. The chain to the fixture isn’t visible due to distortion, angle, deflection. The fixture itself is a little off-and-on visually, so it makes sense that the chain is, too.

@ChinaKatWrites @IAmCathyLynn @BuzzFeed One of my son’s had a yellow gown. Fortunately he’s light brown-skinned with little yellow undertones, but for other kids it was just awful. I can’t imagine anything other than black working as a neutral go-to color.

@ChinaKatWrites @IAmCathyLynn @BuzzFeed And I think once we all get that little bit of education, it’s not so offensive. It’s like, yeah, I get the costuming and staging. It’s all part of the job/act. I don’t feel lied to when the fixes are so commonly discussed and known.

Obviously you and I KNOW people don’t look like their photographs when in person. I don’t feel deceived when I know what happens behind a professional camera.

@IAmCathyLynn @ChinaKatWrites @BuzzFeed be overdone or done improperly. 100% true and I know we agree on that part. I’m not defending actions that perpetuate low self-esteem. I’m only defending the word “fix” in this context and the good it can do.

@RickReadsHorror 11/22/63 is one of my all-time favorite books. Beautifully written, easy to visualize and care for the characters. I don’t like romance in my stories, but if anyone can make me enjoy it, SK can.
