Actually I think Naruto's ideology is never about being a revolutionary but about being a reformist in a broken world.

The story's internal logic presents Naruto as the best this world could produce upto that point : a hopeful ninja who endorses peaceful ideals

@sasukewasright_ Well naruto spends more time with shikamaru than Sakura, also shikamaru helped him when jiraiya died and he wanted to help naruto become great hokage. Also Gaiden shows after naruto saved sasuke, naruto and Sakura don't really talk much, to the point naruto easily believes

@M0CAIN Horrible things like uchiha clan massacre and creation of jinchuriki and all wars. The story gives a solution to this through naruto himself, there is reason the need for shinobi has reduced a lot in boruto Era.

@M0CAIN But naruto does handle these things decently , though not perfect. Story shows how hatred and generational trauma leads to corruption. Villages are created to stop the killing between clans and lead to a peaceful future but because of hatred and distrust it lead to

@bbysasu Hiruzen also says for a hokage entire konoha village is their family , but he accepts uchiha clan massacre, same with hashirama and tobirama. These guys often contradict their own definations of hokage. Ready to sacrife few for the sake of everybody else.

@bolt2bluevortex Yes naruto should've have left kawaki alone so that isshiki can take over his body and destroy the world. The story would've ended there itself and boruto would die, which would be great for both the author and the Naruto fans

@kraakyoin Tsunade and kakashi literally let these bums get away easily, especially kakashi he knew everything about uchiha clan massacre , became the hokage after the war and did nothing . Kakashi even let kabuto handle orphanage.
