Super-speciality doctors in south India are being financially strangled.
In Karnataka:
➡️ SS govt seat fee: ₹2.25 lakh/year
➡️ Stipend: ₹70K/month in cities like Bangalore
In Tamil Nadu:
➡️ Stipend: ₹51–53K/month
➡️ Rent alone: ₹30K+
Private colleges? Fees ₹10–40 LAKHS, stipend still peanuts.
These are NOT students. These are highly trained doctors saving lives daily.
Many are married, supporting families — yet forced to depend on parents even after Masters.
Worked like machines in PG.
No savings.
Now super-speciality = financial punishment?
What kind of system expects doctors to survive — let alone grow — like this?
@NMC_IND@MoHFW_INDIA — fix this hypocrisy.

His name was Manjunath Shanmugam.
He was an IIM Lucknow graduate.
He got a job with Indian Oil Corporation as a sales officer.
His territory was Uttar Pradesh.
He found that petrol pump dealers were adulterating fuel and cheating customers.
He reported it. He sealed the pumps.
On November 19 2005 a petrol pump owner shot him dead outside his office.
He was 27 years old.
The killers were convicted. Sentenced to life imprisonment.
His parents did not get compensation for 15 years.
His college created the Manjunath Shanmugam Trust in his name to fight corruption.
Some men die because they refused to look the other way.
India forgets them too quickly.

MADRAS MEDICAL COLLEGE, CHENNAI — is this medical training or psychological torture?
A resident reports:
• 3+ DAYS continuous duty with barely 6 hours sleep
• Constant targeting, humiliation & threats
• No teaching, only exploitation
• Verbal abuse, discrimination & fear-based silence
• NO basic facilities — not even drinking water
And this is one of the “best institutes” in South India?
Residents pushed to the brink — anxiety, substance misuse, even suicidal thoughts.
This is NOT training. This is SYSTEMIC ABUSE.

How many more doctors need to break before you act?

Tired, but not giving up! Pls download and share before there is a gag order on me.
Thanks to @IndiaESI (who also impleaded in my PIL against misleading branding of sugary drinks as ORS), @FAIMA_INDIA_ , HRDA Andhrapradesh, HRDA Telangana, MARD Thane, MARD Nagpur, Junior Doctor's Association Ahmedabad, Telangana Junior Doctor's Association, Junior Doctor's Association Ranchi, T-SRDA, GARD, Telangana Doctor's Forum, RDA Aligarh, RDWS UP, IMA Telangana State, IMA Hyderabad Airport, Endocrine Society of Telangana, Indian Doctor's and Dermatologists against quackery, for condemning the notice of Johnson&Johnson and Kenvue in which they accused me of disparaging them for my commercial benefits and views! Thank you for staying by my side! Grateful!
This is Dr. Sivaranjini Santosh. She fought an 8-year-long battle to raise issues about the misuse of the name ORS (a medical product used for dehydration) in many sugary products.
- The court banned all products that do not using WHO recommended formula but still use the term ORS.
- The company went to court to sell its existing stock. The court initially gave permission, but after social media outrage, it refused.
- The company has now rebranded those products from ORSL to ERZL.
- Dr. Sivaranjini also raised concerns about these newly marketed products, saying they are misleading people.
Now the company has sent her a legal notice, claiming she is making false, misleading, and defamatory remarks about their products.
This is how voices are suppressed with legal pressure.
WOWOWOW.
Pharma companies send legal Defamation notice to Hyderabad’s Dr Sivaranjani for Fighting against FAKE ORS !!
Dr Sivaranjani led the fight against misleading ORS label on products, resulting in a significant regulatory shift by FSSAI
Shame on @fssaiindia ,Who can't Protect India !!

#WATCH | Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu: the Forest Department released hundreds of Olive Ridley sea turtle hatchlings into the ocean as part of its ongoing marine conservation efforts. (15.03)
We were surrounded by a gang of drivers shouting on the ground Ola staff. Later with the Ola staffs help we cancelled the rides. And took @Uber_India ride and reached home.
We booked ola cabs from designated ola booking centre at airport. After the booking we were asked to move to 2nd floor for pick up. We had booked 2 mini cabs (apparently they have CNG). After seeing our bags they refused to take us in.
And then one day they have delivered one brand new replacement product without any prior communication. Thank you but would have been nicer if there was a proper communication.
Kindly save yourselves from buying @myfrido footwear. First of all they have only 7 days return policy. Second, their support team is almost non existent. Third, very poor quality footwear. Better to buy from Happenstance.
