"Bewakoof aur chutiye mein dhaage bhar ka farak hota haiga, bhaiya... dhaage ke ingay bewakoof aur ungay chutiya. Aur jo dhaaga hainch lo, toh kaun hai bewakoof aur kaun hai chutiya, crore rupiye ka prashan hai bhaiya."
I wish I had understood earlier that money has a point of diminishing returns. The first money gives you security.
Then freedom. After that, you can keep accumulating.
But you cannot buy back time. I wish I had understood this sooner.
Things that silently upgraded my life. None of them were expensive:
1.A 1-litre water bottle I carry everywhere. Stopped “forgetting” to drink water.
2.Sleeping by 11. Not because I wanted to. Because everything got better when I did.
3.A food scale. Realised I was eating double what I thought I was.
4.Blocking 40 minutes for training like a meeting. Non-negotiable. No one questions a meeting.
5.Unfollowing every account that made me feel like I wasn’t doing enough.
6.Saying no to plans that drain me without guilt.
7.A journal. Not for motivation. To track what I eat, how I sleep, how I feel. Data beats feelings.
8.Walking after dinner instead of scrolling. 15 minutes. Changed my digestion, my sleep, and my mood.
9. Cooking one meal a day myself. Not all. Just one. Took back control without overwhelming myself.
10.Putting my phone in another room before bed. Fell asleep in 10 minutes instead of 45.
11.Getting my blood work done. Once. Just once. That one report changed how I saw my body.
Adulting is realizing;
1. You will die, and most people won’t care after a while.
2. People use you until you’re no longer useful.
3. Most people secretly want you to fail.
4. One day you’ll wish you started today.
5. Most people fake happiness while dying inside.
6. No one is coming to save you.
7. You’ll be judged no matter what you do.
8. Your health is your greatest wealth.
9. Happiness is temporary—discipline is permanent.
10. Success takes longer than you think.
11. No one respects weakness, even if they sympathize.
12. Complaining changes nothing.
13. Not everyone you love will love you back.
14. Money won’t solve all your problems—but it solves most.
15. Social media lies to you every day.
16. You’re replaceable at your job.
17. Life is unfair—get used to it.
18. One day, you’ll run out of days.
19. Regret hurts more than failure.
20. Nobody cares about your excuses. Work harder
The earlier you understand this, the better and easier your life gets.
The USD to INR exchange rate has moved from India (+91) to Pakistan (+92).
Next stops: Afghanistan (+93) and Sri Lanka (+94).
In case you didn't get it, this is a SAARCastic post.
