The Pain of Merit.

I published my compliation " The Pain of Merit" in 2021.

I made it freely available to everyone. Incidentally no publisher wanted to publish it. My wife told i will be put in jail if i publish this.

Somehow i garnered strength and published it.

Many called this as a victimhood literature without reading the book. There was a major backlash. Massive trolling, abuse army was put on me..

But then when they read, they realised that it was a book which was written on core representation of SC,ST,OBCs in various areas.

The myth of merit compromised by reservation was completely exposed.

Victimhood is used to silence you. Nothing more.
It is used as a way to belittle you.

Today there is hardly any discussion on atrocity literature which was predominant in the initial phases.

We are now in empowerment phase of Dalit literature.
Data of representation is analyzed, valid issues are raised till parliament.

This is not victimhood. This is fight for our rights and nothing more.

JNU is a sophiscated organisation. They tried to bypass reservation using a sophiscated system of deprivation points. Faculty representation, Ph.D representation all are pathetic for SC,ST,OBCs.

UGC regulations is not playing victimhood. It is creating a law against discrimination faced by SC,ST,OBCs which is documented by government's own reports.

Is the VC stating that all these reports are wrong?

Even supreme court did not say that discrimination does not exist. They wanted it to work in a better way.

Is talking about suicides and dropouts of SC,ST,OBCs students victimhood?

Is talking about Not found suitable or lower interview marks victimhood?

Is talking about lower faculty representation from SC,ST,OBCs victimhood?

This is not victimhood...

This is our rightful battle and we will take it to the next level.

Why do i write?
What is my motive?
Whom do i work for?

I have seen the pain of my mother trying to educate me from a Harijan colony. I have seen the obstacles and hurdles an ordinary dalit child will face.

Right from getting admission in a good english school to getting good textbooks, coaching, guides…everything is a pain..

I still remember when i started preparing for IIT, many made fun of my mother telling her that are you sending him for ITI.

When I got rank 18 in the reserved category in IIT..my mother was confused since she was worried how she will pay my fees.

She took her gold and kept it in a pawn broker shop and she used to feel so bad to go to any relatives marriage after that..

I know the pains of my people…

I know that there are thousands of mothers who pray to god to liberate their sons and daughters from the harsh societal victimisation…

I don’t write for any political
patronage nor any cushy positions. Incidentally not even one single penny is earned out of my posts till date.

I write for my people’s self respect and dignity.

Work in focused way, achieve your parents dreams, be a great son or daughter, look after them well and
make them
proud….

I will never ask you to fight for me, vote for me or give me some money…

But I will ask you only thing…
Make those who victimise and insult you everyday by defeating them in their own games..

Your success is the answer to them…

Professors at top Indian universities act as if India will be doomed if they allow SC,ST,OBCs as faculty there.
But the research they produce is of such low quality and they talk of Merit.

This data may not be correct.
Yes, there is a gap in IAS,IPS,IFS at the JS level. But in the total numbers, the difference may not be that bleak has being presented.
