Parents fine with their trans kid don’t PRAISE schools for transitioning their kid. Upset parents just want to find someone to blame.

That has to be what’s happening if parents are clueless about boys coming home from school as girls.

Lots of kids who socially transition- with or without parent permission - do so BECAUSE THEY’RE TRANS.

@kazama_mama @theosfolly @JohnFugelsang Social transitioning at school is far from an irreversible decision for a kid to make. Remember that’s how this conversation started - the hyperbolic claim that schools are doing gender reassignment surgeries or prescribing hormone therapies.

@kazama_mama @theosfolly @JohnFugelsang Look into the many accounts of parents who thought they were being loving by shunning their trans kids or refusing to have a conversation about pronouns or pulling them out of school immediately. If a kid isn’t sure which kind of “loving parent” they have, that’s on the parent.

These are kids who know they are crossing a line their parents will not allow to be crossed.
