Today marks the 52nd anniversary of the Qaladiza and Sulaimani University bombardment. On April 24, 1974, the Iraqi regime carried out an attack that claimed and wounded the lives of countless students, teachers, and civilians — a tragedy we remember with heavy hearts.

The regime’s attack on the university, a hub of knowledge, and on Qaladiza, a symbol of patriotism, was a misguided attempt to undermine the determination of the people of Kurdistan. The sacrifices of the martyrs have only strengthened the resolve of the Kurdistan liberation movement and intensified the march toward freedom.

On this solemn occasion, we pay our respects to the souls of the martyrs and extend our heartfelt condolences to their proud families. We emphasize that Qaladiza and Pishder region, which have consistently stood as bastions of revolution and sacrifice, deserve our utmost care and serious consideration in all aspects.

We honor the souls of the martyrs of Qaladiza and all the fallen heroes of Kurdistan.

سڵاو لە یاد و گیانی شەهیدانی ڕۆژنامەگەری و هەموو ئەو پێشەنگانەی تەمەنی خۆیان بۆ خزمەتی وشەی ئازاد تەرخان کرد.
