@kayrichlong I totally understand that and im sure that in some cases the parents fall on hard times. But these people are so high on meth they straight up tell us. The mother OD today and the baby was taken by CPS and the 9 y/o is with another neighbor right now.

I called CPS because this family has no food or utilities in the home. There’s a 9 y/o and a 1 y/o. The boy wasn’t going to school because the parents are cracked out and he’s watching the baby. CPS isn’t doing anything because they have “some food” and a generator.

12/30 update: CPS didn’t do shit but rather they turned the utilities back on for the pos “parents”. The mother stabbed the man today and overdosed. I haven’t seen the kids, unsure of where they are.

These are also people that I’ve had animals removed from. And I’m 99.9% sure that there’s substance abuse. And CPS really said “how do you know?”
