• Improve KYC accessibility and completion
• Maintain platform stability
• Deliver a smoother experience for the entire community

Dear Grey Network Community,

We have officially reached and significantly surpassed the 100,000 user milestone. As outlined in our Tokenomics and Halving Schedule, reaching 100K users activates the next stage of our automated mining reward mechanism.

The 100K milestone was reached some time ago, but the halving did not take effect immediately due to several system upgrades and infrastructure improvements being carried out at the time to continuously serve our esteemed community better. During this period, the existing mining rate remained active while these upgrades were being implemented and finalized.

With the necessary improvements now in place, the 100K halving will take effect on September 1st, 2026, in accordance with the established halving mechanism and published schedule.

✅ Base Mining Rate: 0.5 GREY/hour → 0.25 GREY/hour
✅ Signup/Invite Bonus: 50 GREY → 25 GREY

Both rewards will be reduced by 50%, as defined by the Grey Network halving mechanism.

300,000,000 TOR mined. The third halving is live. ⚡️

Yesterday the counter crossed 300 million and Era 03 closed itself. Base rate dropped from 0.8 to 0.4 TOR per hour. Ad boost dropped from 0.16 to 0.08. From that block forward, every TOR is twice as hard to mine as it was the morning before. ⛏️

The whole story so far, in four lines:

⛏️ Era 01 · 3.2 TOR/h · ran 74 days
⛏️ Era 02 · 1.6 TOR/h · ran 35 days
⛏️ Era 03 · 0.8 TOR/h · ran 45 days
👑 Era 04 · 0.4 TOR/h · LIVE NOW

155 days. That is how long it took this network to mine its first 300 million TOR. No farms, no rented data centers, no shortcuts. 83,037 miners across 197 countries, opening the app, starting a session, coming back the next day and doing it again. Every one of those 300 million came out of your hours, not ours. 💛

And there is a second milestone hiding inside the first one. The testnet mining pool is 600M TOR. We just crossed the halfway line. 🌍

Two things worth saying plainly, because halvings make people nervous:

· Nobody got cut mid-session. Your rate locks the moment your session starts. Every session that was already running when it fired finished at the old 0.8, exactly as designed.
· Halving only touches mining. Task rewards, referral signup bonuses and reward codes come from a separate allocation and were not touched. Streak and mini task boosts are percentages, so they scale with the rate and keep their weight.

Was mining better in Era 01? Obviously. That is the entire point of a halving. The people who were here in March are holding TOR that can never be mined that fast again, and the people starting today are mining at a rate that will look generous by Era 06. Scarcity is not something we announce. It is something you either showed up for or you didn't.

30,560 of you fired up a session on the new rate within a day. That is the answer we were hoping for. 🫡

Next stop: 400,000,000 TOR. That is where Era 04 closes and the rate halves again, to 0.2 TOR/h.

A few days ago, we introduced the Marketplace button inside the Grey Network mining app, giving our community a first look at one of the utilities we are actively building. The Marketplace, also accessible at https://t.co/pctwxKQVct, is part of our broader vision to create practical use cases for $GREY and establish an ecosystem where the coin serves a genuine purpose beyond mining.

🛒 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦 & 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗘

The Grey Network Marketplace will allow users to shop for goods from participating merchants, pay with $GREY, and have their purchases delivered to their location. Through our Merchant Program, verified businesses will be able to register their stores and upload products for buyers to discover and purchase.

The Marketplace will initially support regional commerce, connecting buyers with merchants within or close to their region. As the merchant network grows, our goal is to expand beyond regional commerce into a global marketplace where users can purchase goods from merchants around the world and have them delivered to their locations.

💰 $𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗔𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

At the heart of the Marketplace is $GREY as the means of payment. Goods and services offered through the platform will be purchased using $GREY, giving the coin a direct and practical function within the ecosystem. Merchants joining the Merchant Program will be required to accept $GREY and comply with applicable Marketplace policies covering product standards, merchant conduct, pricing, transactions, fulfilment, delivery and the applicable $GREY valuation.

The USD value of $GREY referenced within the Marketplace represents the estimated value being considered by Grey Network for the coin. While this remains subject to confirmation as development progresses, merchants participating in the Marketplace will be required to recognise and comply with the applicable $GREY value established by Grey Network.

Users will always have the freedom to use their $GREY as they choose, including trading or selling it elsewhere. Our goal is to build an ecosystem where $GREY has practical utility and can be used to access real goods, services and other utilities.

Create more than one wallet. Label each one, pick a primary, switch between them instantly. Your seed phrases are AES-256 encrypted in your phone's secure vault, protected by a password you set, so a lost seed phrase no longer means a lost wallet. After 15:00 UTC, head to Testnet and practice sending tTOR between your own wallets.

One honest reminder: tTOR is a test coin. No value, testing only. The experience you build with it is the real reward.
