Sometime we have to all (all sides) grow up and try to think and talk rationally about not only representing certain interest groups or a specific policy but about what it takes to win a general. Losing this MI Senate seat probably means losing the Senate and thus our country...

while I am afraid it was his "republican look the other way" and pressure from people like Johnson and Trump, it could also very well be that Miller threaten retaliation if Moreno spoke up. Unless you have dealt with the escalating violence of an abuser and the threats surrounding that, you can't understand the fear.

He's wrong about Fauci. But honestly, did you miss in the post where he states Miller still has visitation/custody with his granddaughter...a bad judical decision perhaps but it exists. It is a proven fact that the less acrimonious the relationships in a divorce situation the better. Moreno's post is already going to inflame relationships.

I have severe seasonal allergies. The year we masked a lot, especially outside of our home, was the best year with my allergies I have had in 40 years living in Texas. I still wear one on days when the air is loaded with pollen. I can't believe I thought the allergeist who told me a mask might help me was crazy. And just let a MAGA anti-Covid crazy say anything to me.

I am sorry. They are NOT the same thing. I am married to a Jewish American. My children are half Jewish. We both support Israel and her right to exist and her right to defend herself proactively and when attacked. Like many people we know, we do NOT support the current Israeli government and the actions it has taken, especially once all the hostages were returned. Bibi has gone too far in an attempt to remain in power. He has crossed humanitarian lines and it now appears that the reasonable citizens of Israel are handling the problem.

@casbeataol While I get part of your point, the vapor released from smoking weed is not healthy or pleasant for others. Smoking weed around young children is not good for them and possibly not for a fetus. Usually eating the way you describer does not impair driving. There are differences.

First, people do have the right to agree not to have children. Some people shouldn't have children and others wish to focus their energies else where. But I wonder, do you ever reflect that if your parents had made your decision, you wouldn't be here? Does that ever factor into your thinking, that a potentially wonderful person or person likeyourself will not exist in this world? Maybe that should moderate your rudeness to people who do have children.

True. We can’t change how H and W ere raised. I do believe it wasn’t the same bc reportedly W had a great deal of 1 on 1 time with Her Late Majesty the Queen (as befitted his place as Heir) and I think that helped him see the bigger things like duty and family. And he met C so young. I truly believe H could have been salvaged if he had met the right person at a younger age. There is no question that Charles, Diana and the whole system were bad for H. That doesn’t excuse his behavior nor take away Charles’ love for his son. I am merely saying I think, due to the Queen and the Middletons, W can understand his father’s actions and can deal with them as long as the children and C don’t have to participate.

I believe it is more nuanced. Israel is a concept,a people and a political State. Netanyahu has led the State of Israel to do some things that go too far in defending herself in recent months. The people of Israel appear divided about some of what he has led the country to do. You can deplore the actions Netanyahu has led and still admire what the Israeli people have built. Also, you can and I believe must realize that Israel does not represent the Jewish people worldwide. My husband is Jewish. He today does not support Netanyahu nor does he 100% support all of the recent actions of Israel. You can wish Israel was acting differently in some cases.
