My analytical brain is wondering, how many of the CUPE staff are making $39k, is it an average? Is it an entry level position? Using the 2000 hr work year, that’s $19.5/hour, assuming it’s someone with summers off, that jumps to 24.38/hr. Why is that the wage being used?

While Ontario and Canada’s healthcare systems have their flaws, the more I learn about the American healthcare system and their insurance plans, the more thankful I am for our system. Healthcare should be accessible and affordable for all.
