Hi, I'm Sam!
I'm new to X, so here's a quick intro!
I'm a student at UIUC, currently in SF helping grow @VoiceOSApp , a YC startup building an IRL Jarvis for your computer.
Few quick things ab me:
- somehow went from a rescinded consulting internship to a YC startup role in 1 week
- been to 16 concerts this yr
- can solve a Rubik's cube in under 20s
- I make startup & storytelling content on Instagram (kaseng.sam)
Trying to grind content and meet some cool people in SF this summer! If you want to be friends, hit me upπ«‘
The real ones know dictation is only step one.
By this time next year, you won't use your voice just to type.
You'll use it to tell your computer what to do.
i slept 5 hours over the last three days.
was it worth it?
last week, we launched @VoiceOSApp
in the first 24 hours:
- 110,000+ impressions
- 1500+ new users
so yeah, worth it.
thank you to everyone who tried it, shared it, or sent feedback. we're already using that feedback to build what comes next.

First weekend in the Bay as a growth intern:
- spent $200+ on food
- went out in San Jose for the first time
- shipped our first team video for @VoiceOSApp
Any SF/SJ recs for next weekend?

I thought Iβd be starting my consulting internship in New York this week.
Instead, Iβm in SF helping grow @VoiceOSApp, an operating system that turns voice into action across your computer.
Dictation was just the beginning.
Proud to be part of the team building the future of voice-to-action!
