@JamesGunn just finished Peacemaker for the first time. Absolutely phenomenal. Honestly some of the most fun I've had watching TV in years. That sound track too! Can't tell you how amazing it was to hear all these awesome bands that I've loved for so long on something mainstream.
My wife and I first met at a Hardcore Superstar gig, and we ended up finding each other again years later on a dating site due to us both listing all the sleaze metal bands we loved. To see the scene where Chris talks about how important a band they are really made me smile!
@sd_katsu No problem, mate. I was just interested to see what you thought of it. I always heard those 80's Burnys were comparible, if not better quality than the equivalent Gibson model.
@sd_katsu You remembered! Thanks! ๐
Wow, that's a great price. Genuinely thought it would be at least twice that amount. I'll bet the shipping and customs would take that up quite a bit though. Did you play it by any chance?
@HereIsMyPitch@bcdcdude Does my nut in. I had to buy an extension lead just so I could sit on my sofa and play it whilst charging.
The switch pro controller is a beast. That thing just keeps on going.
@sd_katsu Yeah, those ones I can find for around ยฃ500 here, it's the proper made in Japan 80's models I'm after. Better quality than a Gibson apparently. ๐
@sd_katsu Never mind, I can see it says Orville. If you do see a white Burny les Paul though (MIJ), could you let me know how much they are Iver there please? Always fancied one, but the import costs are eye watering. ๐ฌ
@tomdelonge Don't know if anyone mentioned his yet, but I'm fairly confident that second picture is from a local ice cream farm to me. Every year they used to do huge hay sculptures of local landmarks and pop culture. This was modelled after Jodrell Bank Telescope. https://t.co/efeujMrGrX
@sd_katsu Wow, I have never even heard of that brand before. I wonder what the collectors market is like outside of Japan? Looking at Wikipedia they were only around for a few short years.
@sd_katsu Wow. That is expensive to ship. No wonder Japanese guitars are so expensive in the UK. ๐ฌ
I really wanted to see how much a Burny les Paul Custom copy was over there. A proper one from the 80's when Gibson noticed that they were making better guitars than them and wanted to sue.
