The BEST thing I learned this year was how to still enjoy my life during my storms. As long as we have life we will have problems. My entire world can be in chaos & I'll still try to find a reason to laugh and smile.
Anyone here getting married soon or moving out of their house in Northmead, Longacres, Rhodes Park, civic center area, Woodlands, Nyumba yanga, Salama Park, Ibex, or Kabulonga?
Please let me know 🙏🏽
I’m tired of house hunting.. maybe this way will be easier!
@malamadickson@joseph_kalimbwe@Sophie_Mokoena@fireshikomba Please let’s be honest and name the people that are in prison for expressing alternate opinions…coz things have changed. The former party ruled with intimidation, fear, lawlessness. etc.. And let’s read the cyber crime bill in order to obtain sufficient context on it
@SAKDULANI@joseph_kalimbwe@fireshikomba Being requested to account for how one managed the country’s affairs is simply accountability - and we have to ensure that every leader goes through the process if we’re to have a better future. We can’t be gullible or preach forgiveness.
Isn’t it rich that the Patriotic Front Tonse now decries the very Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes law they passed in 2021? Their sudden outrage only works because many of us don’t read—or pretend not to read—what our own Parliament enacts.
• In 2021, the PF government and President Lungu and Binwell Mpundu enacted the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act No. 2 of 2021, locking in data‑retention notices, lawful‑interception powers and penalties for online offences.
• In 2025, the UPND administration merely decoupled that single omnibus law into two clearer statutes—Cyber Security Act No. 3 of 2025 and Cyber Crimes Act No. 4 of 2025—adding only minor wording tweaks to make the law easier to follow and stronger in its protections of our citizens.
Yet here come the PF, Hon. Binwell Mpundu, and many others, peddling half‑truths and hoping we fall for their spin. Sadly, some even our own, are all too willing to swallow their deception.
Bakwetu, you don’t have to take their word for it. You can read all three Acts yourself:
1. Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act No. 2 of 2021 (PF‑authored)
2. Cyber Security Act No. 3 of 2025 (UPND‑refined)
3. Cyber Crimes Act No. 4 of 2025 (UPND‑refined)
These laws are publicly available—no secret clauses, no sudden “new” powers. UPND stands for clarity, plain and simple. Let’s hold every party to account by reading the Acts, asking hard questions, and refusing to be fooled by political theatrics.
