Should venture capital, Angel investor do more investment in Nigeria real sector outside Tech? Yes! And here's why a thread 👇
VC funding in Nigeria has become a steady finance vehicle largely influenced by fintech activities, in 2021 Nigeria tech attracted $1.37B in investment-
@abazwhyllzz This skit never gets old, it's wey funnier when he released it in 2023, back then when they were stealing people's p**ns in Abuja 😄😄. That was the inspiration for this skit
We made this short documentary telling the story of how our stars Egejurum Onyedikachi, Onwubiko Chimdiebube, and Don Anele Munachimso went from competing in and winning the South East Maths Olympiad to bringing home gold medals at the International STEM Olympiad in Rome last week.
It's such a beautiful and inspiring story to watch.
Seeing students from the South East achieve this on the international stage reminds us of what is possible when young people are given the right opportunities.
We are changing the story of education in the South East and Nigeria, and this is just the beginning.
go pull up the 6AM candle on your chart right now
this one candle predicts the entire New York session direction
and almost nobody uses it
a guy in my discord called 14 out of 15 trading days correctly last month using only this
here's the exact system:
THE 6AM REVERSAL SIGNATURE:
at 6AM EST, institutions show their hand
they either:
- push price into a key level (reversal incoming)
- expand away from a level (continuation day)
the 6AM candle tells you WHICH
STEP 1: mark yesterday's high and low
STEP 2: at 6AM, watch where price trades relative to those levels
STEP 3: if 6AM sweeps a level but CLOSES back inside the range = reversal day
STEP 4: if 6AM expands and closes BEYOND the level = trend day
that's it.
EXAMPLES:
6AM sweeps yesterday's high, closes back below it → sell the rip at 9:30
6AM sweeps yesterday's low, closes back above it → buy the dip at 9:30
6AM breaks high and closes above with momentum → only look for longs
most traders show up at 9:30 with no bias
they're "reacting to price action"
aka gambling
smart traders showed up at 6AM
they already know the direction
the 9:30 open is just their entry window
THIS IS THE EDGE:
institutions set up the move between 6-9:30
retail shows up at 9:30 and provides the exit liquidity
you can either BE the liquidity
or you can TAKE the liquidity
the 6AM candle tells you which side you're on
go backtest it. 30 days. track the results.
you'll never trade blind again
I told yall it was a literacy issue and everyone wanted to rip my head off. Back in the day, rappers had vast and diverse vocabulary. They used figurative language, and literary devices. And this is not about AAVE, because that’s a dialect. the new cats are vastly illiterate.
@bessiedone@asemota@markessien Capital is king and very scarce to come by, there would always be opportunities in the future to invest. So when life rewards you with a massive fortune like $1M. It's always advisable to look well before you limp.
Cause if gone you might not get it again.
@Salahudeed@Kelvintalent_ Focus on scaling that $10 to $30 then withdraw $20 and buy a 5k account. Use the same strategy on the prop firm account and in 6months time you would be in a better place. The emphasis is on time, be patient with your trading journey.
Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it.
Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying.
Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence."
Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."
Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter.
They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created.
One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility."
Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies.
That's the metered intelligence business model.
And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
Then one day, the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) decided to introduce mandatory fees and permits for visiting Nigerian filmmakers. In retaliation, Nigerian producers restricted their use of Ghanaian actors in Nollywood productions.
Guess what happened years later?
@chinnykush042 But how was she balancing her account at the close work, how come it went on for so long without account department flagging it? This story ain't adding up.
@Victorokeke_ It's More of a cultural thing. During my time schooling in Ghana, it was a common practice.
At the park we would all queue like this for 30-45 mins waiting for the bus heading to Koforidua from Accra. My Nigerian mind couldn't process this, one time I tried jumping to the front-
@wisingman While I understand this, but did you try calling her? lot's of people don't do well with chatting. I myself am very terrible with chatting, but very interesting with talking. Chatting give me anxiety, once I see your Pop notification I get anxious instantly.
@egi_nupe Tinubu just announced that over $11.5B would be spent for debt service, that less money going to finance FG capital project. We have 2023,24,&25 budget all running in 2026. Ministry of health got only 36 million for the FY capital project.
But who cares our debt is sustainable.
