In a pinch some olive oil or baby oil (or what ever you'd trust around your eyes) works as well, then follow up with a face wash or some mild soap, whatever you got.
Non-waterproof? Soap amd water and a wash rag (might stain)

@blauesLichtchen Mir fällt grad nur spiel reparieren ein. manche spiele liefern die option (wenns spiel geschlossen ist) rechtsklick > dateien überprüfen/reparieren. Ansonsten deinstallieren und reinstallieren.
Deine saves findest du unter meine dateien > ea > sims falls du da was machen willst

@docm77 Stones or planks might do the trick. Either bought in your local baumarkt or gathered (less the palnks, more the stones. A river or lake would be a good place to look for some) bricks would work aswell, bonuspoints for being uniform, waterresistant and letting water pass through.
