Personally, I would have been incredibly frustrated had the show ended there.

@theashleyray BSG just barely escaped. If I recall correctly, the first few season 4 episodes were already written. In a mad dash they scripted just enough eps before the strike deadline to form half a season.
If necessary, Ron Moore's fallback plan was to end the series on a cliffhanger. /1

A Florida jury acquitted a retired Florida police captain of 2nd degree murder today.

Curtis Reeves, 71, shot and killed Chad Oulsen in a movie theater because he was texting during the previews. Oulsen was with his wife and was texting their babysitter.
