### Biography
Musinguzi Garuga was a multifaceted figure known for his contributions to Uganda’s private sector, tourism industry, and community development. He was a founding member and major funder of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), a significant opposition political party in Uganda, and was actively involved in the Reform Agenda during the 2001 General Elections, supporting Dr. Kizza Besigye’s presidential campaign. He briefly engaged in politics, contesting for the Kinkizi West parliamentary seat in 2001 against Amama Mbabazi, but lost. He later petitioned the court, which annulled Mbabazi’s victory, though Musinguzi withdrew from the subsequent re-run.
