Fire 🔥 incompetence timeline:
-Sept 2024: insurance cos cancel fire coverage in the Palisades and Malibu
-Dec 2024: LAFD Chief states if budgets are cut they can’t fight wildfires
-Dec 30, 2024: High wind storm ⛈️💨 warnings issued for socal
-Jan 6: Palisades 🔥 erupt followed by Eaton, Sunset, Kenneth, Granada Hills, Archer and Hurst
-Jan 9: Mass panic due to evac notice being sent out by mistake to 10 million people.
-Jan 10: Another erroneous evac message sent.
-Some other items to consider:
1. Mayor out of town
2. Governor took a long time to declare disaster to get resources in place.
3. No water in the reservoir.
4. No water pressure and no water in the fire hydrants to fight fires in Palisades.
5. National Guard shows up 4 days later.

This is a comedy of errors and we have “leaders” who are not taking accountability for their failed policies and lack of immediate action.
