this is 46. my once-upon-a-time goal was to conclude my life. but here, now, in this muck and glory of moments stacked and cherished, I lean in. there are days where the pain feels unsounded, but those are the days that are now hemmed in with fellowship.
Food & nutrition are NOT a one-size fits all approach. Different things go into learning what your body, mind & spirit need. There is no moral value on food! Food is food—it is not good or bad & YOU most certainly are not "good" or "bad" based on what you've eaten (or not eaten)
Last month Sam and I visited his hometown of Zenda, Kansas for the 135th anniversary of the town-population: 70. Sam and I grew up in vastly different worlds. But here, in the level lands of Kansas, the sky is uninterrupted, and the savanna has consent to just be. And so did I.
Multiple realities can and *do* exist. The way you remember an experience can differ vastly from someone experiencing the same event. *All* experiences, emotions, and feelings are valid.
So much of ineffective behavior as adults stems from childhood trauma. When we begin to treat the root cause of our pain rather than the symptom, we will begin to see real change. Your healing journey is your own.
