We have witnessed two systems of justice: one that let extremists storm the U.S. Capitol yesterday, and another that released tear gas on peaceful protestors last summer. It’s simply unacceptable.
I’ve always said something like this. How amazing would it be if you were able to look back on this time in your life and say “wow. I got through this!” And then use your story to encourage others too? Wouldn’t that be amazing? I think so.
Also I’m not an expert in comedy but if your humor depends on making fun of people, especially people with disabilities, then the truth is, you’re not actually funny, you’re just a mean person. You can be funny and kind. No need to put people down.
Haven’t posted an inspirational quote for a long time because I haven’t felt super motivated during these times but I found this and this one hit close to home. 🥺 wanted to share it with you all 💜
The most important thing right now is to educate yourself & others about what’s happening. Do NOT filter the truth to young people just like school text books filter most of history. If you have the opportunity to speak up, USE YOUR VOICE. #BlackLivesMatter
My mom made up this acronym for the word “CHANGE”
Courage
Hope

If you want change, you have to be courageous, have hope & it’ll teach you something new.
Have the courage to speak up! Have the courage to challenge your own views.
