@fontooo @KC_OnlineGaming @BFragequitter20 There are always some groups getting into drama but they are the minority. I think it's very disingenuous to discourage reading scanlations at all because of a few bad apples with bad TL/getting into drama, etc.

But as someone in scanlation for over 3 years I promise the majority of groups are just chill providing decent-to-high quality translations done by humans, not getting in drama.

I think the downsides of the merge are obvious right away (losing the identity of being HoloEN/ID), but the advantages may take a while to show.
Or, of course, it could end up bad with no advantages.
But I want to wait and see instead of just assuming that it will be bad.

@Sneightow I'm not sure how you got from "the official channels will post all content translated now" to "there will be huge cuts in the budget and amount of content". Nothing has been said about cuts or budget changes at all about this merge.

It just means they aren't responsible for any issues that may come up with the forwarding service and such.
But you can still use a forwarding service with no issue.
