Bc it’s a guy who got the job through office politics and not the actual best person/voice for Kermit!!!! Which is NOT how anything should work especially for The Muppets
On one hand the Kermit voice is close enough and doesn't really bother me. On the other hand every time I hear it I want to know the office politics of how they picked this specific guy because there can't have been an audition process with multiple people going for it
@meanchickadee I’ve been doing hand sewing projects on the couch while we watch tv to keep my hands busy! Embroidery, hemp bracelets, bead jewelry, knitting or crocheting also options
pro tip if you have a bench scraper you can mechanically remove a lot of the grime from a wooden cutting board by getting the entire board wet to raise the grain and then scraping hard at a 45 degree angle.
So Im with a group of friends who are all in serious committed long term relationships and im learning APPARENTLY couples barely ever if at all make out. IS THIS TRUE
My wife and I made a rule that if we want take out we have to go out and get it. All the extra fees that delivery apps have aren’t worth it, and physically going to get the food has us interacting with the people who actually made it!!
Being forced to leave your house to get things once in a while had emergent social benefits whose loss we will feel for decades. There’s a growing class of people who (by way of remote work + delivery apps + online services) no longer leave home for weeks on end.

I made breakfast sandwiches this morning and my wife got the better toasted roll, the better tomato slices, and the better eggs bc she’s the best and deserves the best
I remember a story (probably on Reddit) about a man who always offered to make his wife's plate. She watches him once and caught her husband giving himself the better parts of meals. Like down to picking out the better lettuce leaves in a salad mix and giving her the brown ones.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The rich used to flaunt their wealth by donating to museums, universities, opera houses, hospitals. They’d get their name on a new wing and have bragging rights. The secret to being likable is right there??? Just?? Do that??
Yesterday I ordered DoorDash for dinner. I was cleaning and don’t want to stop.
When I was placing the order, it defaulted to my food getting delivered by a COCO (robot used in LA). I opted out of it and they asked why. I said I wanted to tip a driver to help them get paid.
