@focusfronting Yes lol. It doesn’t happen anymore bc I think 30 somethings know not to do that but in high school and especially college I would be picked up often. we get patted on the head and leaned on a lot too lol also the classic hand comparison move where they scrunch their fingers over
@TheJobfather__ 🥴 that person doesn’t need to be in recruitment if they’re talking to people like that. If the candidate isn’t moving for the job, I would question the 10 days to consider an offer, but once you make an offer, you can’t pull it back like that. That’s wild
@hcsrih @TheJobfather__ I give people 48 hours and if they need an extension, that’s fine, but we need to be communicating that. If they decline, I don’t want to be waiting 7-14 days to offer it to the next person in line. I need to be giving them a quick turnaround too.
@clhubes It’s bc there are people saying they don’t play with their kids at all, and it’s alarming at first. But then they list all of the activities they do with their kids, and it just doesn’t include playing pretend. It feels kinda clickbaity? Bc they are playing with them.
@RobWalks_ Did you answer ?’s when you applied? you might have been rejected bc you didn’t meet a qualification based on your answers. Or someone really did review and reject it. If it’s the right timing, I’m sure I’ve reviewed apps and sent a rejection shortly after someone applied.
@P0gChampUWU @katelynanne@HannahPosted 😕 idk i think maybe we just need to give people grace. White claws really do look like a seltzer water or energy drink. Glad your perfect all the time though
@P0gChampUWU @katelynanne@HannahPosted Maybe they each take turns to buy groceries? I’ve taken forms buying groceries with past roommates. Plus she was an older woman going through chemo. You really need to give people grace.
@KimberlyNFoster I do not like that movie 😬 Florence Pugh is an incredible actress though! Her grief feels too real and that movie just makes me feel bad
@TheCosmeticLane I don’t think they’re trying to say it’s the same person. It’s a before and after for both people. It seems like they’re being pretty honest actually. The 1st women’s after is subtle and realistic.
@blursluts44 Are teen magazines a thing anymore? I wanted to work at one so bad as a kid, like j-14, tiger beat, teen vogue. These kids need something like that on TikTok or something. They need their Lizzie McGuire and Raven 🥺
@EnergizerGrind@FadzaiVeanah At least in the US, a CV is also used in more of an academic form. You’d list the academic projects/research/publications on a CV. You’d list a more brief version of your job history and education on a resume.
@BasedMuva @FadzaiVeanah @watermoonseve That’s what I was thinking! In California, you can’t ask for an applicant’s DOB or salary history. Sometimes people not from the US will apply and add the names of every person in their family and I’m like 🫨 nooo lol. And I delete it before sending it to a hiring committee.
@ImanEurope I feel like a lot of people on this app are responding too literally. I would say even through your 40s, you are putting in the work physically, spiritually, literally, etc. You learn about yourself and about balance these years. And over time, you find peace.
@weltanschaunng@_ClaireConnelly @kieroncg I don’t know if credit unions have a Zelle option. My fiancé’s credit union doesn’t have that option, but maybe that one is just particularly small?
@dst6n01 Wow, I was thinking during this story about how your mom sounds firm but fair. I’m surprised by these comments. I don’t totally agree with withholding food because people tend to go wild once they can have it but it was sugary cereal lol. Clearly she had good intentions.
