Growing up in #Indianapolis, the nickname "Naptown" felt appropriate to me. Now, my once-sleepy hometown is a vibrant city, and @IndyHub is helping young residents and transplants find opportunities that interest them. Proud of Friday's work with this innovative organization!
Feeling connected to one's #community has countless benefits. @kate_vault, Friday's director of communication, recounts her experience growing up as a native Hoosier, and dives into just how important organizations like @IndyHub can be. https://t.co/qNZ49qTTHv

We call for justice, which is a component of true peace. Justice not only includes accountability for the officers who beat and killed #TyreNichols but must also entail accountability for the system which consistently perpetuates this violence.
The comments about #HarryandMeghan always sadden me. A lot of folks who just sat across the Thanksgiving table from family members who caused them emotional trauma are incensed by people choosing peace and speaking their truth, and it shows.
Change is difficult. That’s true for individuals, and it’s especially true for organizations. In response to the inherent complexity of change, we’ve developed a simple framework we’re calling #IntegratedImpact. Read more from Friday Partner @austinblake https://t.co/JdjFadv8bo
Early voting done. I brought one of my favorite future voters with me, and we had a great conversation about civic responsibility. He asked if we can go to vote together when he's old enough.
Imagine being able to get rid of a tragi-bad leader in 44 days because their own party rose up against them…and tell me again that the American constitution is some kind of gospel of good government that doesn’t need to be improved.
Social responsibility is increasingly becoming a focus for businesses, as they evolve to meet consumers' changing expectations for brands. CSR efforts can also benefit #nonprofit organizations. I've offered a few thoughts on strategy, brand, and communications considerations.
Putting the Social Responsibility in #SocialImpact: Why #CSR Isn’t Just for Businesses. https://t.co/vNw5X9sSG4 For nonprofit leaders contemplating how to adopt social responsibility measures, there are #strategy, #brand, and #communications considerations to keep in mind.

It is such a reflection of the scourge of #racism in this country that many of the same people (some sports commentators included) who criticized & ostracized #Kaepernick for #protesting racism are now awfully quiet about #BrettFavre’s alleged involvement in a #welfare#scheme.
If you watch a show with Dragons, Elves, or Lightsabers but can’t wrap your head around people of color in the same series, the choice of casting isn’t the problem. You are.
In summary, the @INHouseGOP wants to deny women access to birth control and force them into unwanted (potentially dangerous and traumatic) pregnancies, all while saying they should have acted more responsibly.
Abortion ban by the numbers:
3⃣9⃣ (the MAJORITY) House Rs voted for no rape/incest exemption
3⃣5⃣ Rs voted for no lethal fetal anomaly exception
3⃣ Rs voted for our public question amendment
4⃣9⃣ Rs voted against allowing pharmacists to prescribe birth control & patches
I wish I could say I'm surprised. Just disgusted that a group of people - many of whom won't be affected by this and probably couldn't pass a quiz on reproduction - get to make this decision for me and other Hoosier women.
BREAKING: The Indiana House has voted to ban abortion in Indiana. SB 1 is expected to get final approval by the Senate today.
SB 1 will force women and other people who can become pregnant into second-class status in the state of Indiana.
